How Dental Implants Work
Bend dental implants really are amazingly different. Not only do they replace your tooth or teeth, but they also replace your roots as well.
The system consists of biocompatible, titanium implant posts that are surgically placed in your jaw bone. These posts integrate with your bone to keep it stimulated and strong while also holding your dental implant securely in place.
Dr. De Graff has partnered with Implant Concierge for the ultimate in implant planning, customized surgical guides, and precision placement. The process is simple and convenient:
- We start by taking 3D x-rays with our cone beam CT scanner and 3D impressions with Cerec Primescan
- Because both of these technologies are digital, we can immediately send your imaging to Implant Concierge for a planning meeting, implant placement mapping, and the creation of a surgical guide
- This incredibly precise surgical guide eliminates all the variables that can happen with free-hand implant surgery, right down to guiding Dr. De Graff to pinpoint-proper angulation and depth
No guesswork, no erroneous placement–just pure comfort and accuracy from your Bend dental implants.
If you are worried that you may not have enough bone structure to support an implant…if you have been told you don’t qualify for dental implants because of bone loss …relax. We can help with that too. Dr. De Graff offers bone grafting to retain or build your bone strength and structure.
And if you need more than a few teeth replaced, we work with a denturist right next door to plan and create your very own implant-retained dentures!
You will be amazed to discover just how much dental implants feel like your own, natural teeth – the teeth Mother Nature wanted you to have all along!
