Do you dream of having a straighter smile? You’re not alone. Some people just can’t put on a smile, especially in public, because their teeth aren’t straight. While there are multiple ways to correct your smile, clear aligners have proved effective over the years. They help you straighten or realign your teeth for a brighter smile.

Invisalign is perhaps the oldest and most well-known clear aligner product. But you might be wondering if it’s effective?

If you’re considering Invisalign to straighten or realign your teeth, you might want to check out the Invisalign® Smileview™ Simulator.

How Invisalign treatment works

Invisalign treatment uses clear plastic aligners to reshape your teeth. The clear aligners put balanced and consistent force, shifting your teeth to the proper position. Additionally, Invisalign clear aligners transform your smile in series. You need to track your progress and make minor adjustments to experience incredible results.

To get started with Invisalign treatment, you should visit an orthodontist to get a 3D image of your jaw and mouth. The image will be used to create a plan for transforming your smile. The process is customized to individual needs.

Ideally, you need to change the aligners every one to two weeks, depending on the instructions from your orthodontist. Also, you’ll need to put on the Invisalign aligners for 20-22 hours a day.

Advantages of Invisalign

Invisalign treatment differs from traditional braces. That’s why it’s a preferred method to transform your smile. Here are some of the benefits of Invisalign.

Invisalign looks better

You’re virtually invisible with your clear Invisalign aligners. As a result, no one can actually tell that you’re on orthodontic treatment.

You can still take smiling photos without worrying about your new braces.

Take your aligners out to eat

You don’t change your diet just because you’re undergoing orthodontic treatment. Instead, you can take your clear Invisalign aligners out to take your favorite foods and drinks.

You just need to ensure your aligners are on for about 20-22 hours daily.

Fewer consultations

You only need to work with an orthodontist before you wear your aligners. Then, once the orthodontist has identified a perfect set of aligners, they’ll instruct you on how to change them. Consequently, you don’t need more visits to your orthodontist.
